Online Master’s Degrees in Nevada

Though Nevada is most known for its famous party cities, there are also many high-quality higher education institutions in the state. The Nevada System of Higher Education includes eight colleges and universities, including the University of Nevada’s two campuses. The NSHE is taking part in a number of initiatives to improve cultural diversity in its schools and college accessibility throughout the state. The rest of the state’s system is made up of private institutions, such as Sierra Nevada College and Roseman University of Health Sciences. Some of these institutions offer master’s degrees that can be completed fully online, making it convenient for anyone who doesn’t live near a campus or has other obligations that keep them from earning a degree in a traditional classroom.

Sierra Nevada College is known for focusing on sustainability, not just in regards to the environment, but also social, economic, and educational sustainability.

Whether you live in Sin City or not, you can earn a master’s degree from UNLV. The school offers a Master of Science in Nursing and a Master’s of Hospitality Administration. MHA classes run all year in five eight-week sessions through WebCampus, which offers discussion boards, email, and chat features.
